Bloomfield River State School students are approaching lessons with fresh curiosity and confidence. With students from Peace Lutheran College, they will have the opportunity to trial VR headsets during their Term 2 camp as part of a pilot program. Early STEM lessons using iPads
are already sparking interest and building digital literacy. Teachers have observed heightened engagement and enthusiasm during science sessions, clear signs that hands on technology is creating new pathways into STEM.

Over 1400 kilometres northwest, Jabiru Area School has begun teaching the Kakadu Curriculum, a syllabus cowritten with Caulfield Grammar that threads Bininj ecological knowledge through Years 7-9 science. Early feedback shows students are engaging more confidently with science concepts and teachers have observed improved questioning in class.

On Groote Eylandt, GEBIPCAC and The Kings School have worked hard together sharing information to prepare for moving GEBIPCAC’s IT function to King’s. Once established this allows resources to be redirected to other programs to benefit Anindilyakwa students.
