A City-Country Partnership Connects Remote NT Schools With Sydney’s Meriden School

The Yadha Muru Foundation (YMF), in collaboration with the Australian Government's City-Country Partnerships Program, is fostering a unique connection between Ti Tree School, Neutral Junction School (both located in remote NT) and Meriden School in Sydney.

Sharing Knowledge on Hospitality in Warmun, Western Australia

The Yadha Muru Foundation is excited to announce a partnership between Ngalangangpum School in Warmun (Kimberley region) and Kolbe Catholic College in Rockingham (Perth). This partnership will focus on sharing knowledge around hospitality, building on the expertise of Kolbe Catholic College and the remote Kimberley School, Ngalangangpum School, Warmun.

WA Catholic City-Country Partnership to Strengthen Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Learning

Another partnership fostered by Yadha Muru Foundation and Catholic Education Western Australia brings together St Mary's College (Broome), Sacred Heart Primary School Highgate (Perth) and Chisholm Catholic College (Perth) in a unique collaboration. This partnership is distinguished by its focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), which Sacred Heart and Chisholm have specialist expertise in the teaching of. The partner schools have recognised that Aboriginal cultural knowledge, design and process can be taught and learned within the STEM framework. In addition, STEM is seen to give students in remote communities the tools required to improve engagement and lead to careers and further education.

City-Country Partnership Progam empowers Beagle Bay students through Tourism VET

Yadha Muru Foundation is supporting a formal partnership between Sacred Heart School Beagle Bay and Chisholm Catholic College as part of the City-Country Partnership Program. This unique partnership centres around the development of Vocational Education and Training in Tourism.
