Inaugural Symposium City-Country Partnerships Impact Statements

Yadha Muru Foundation (YMF) hosted its Inaugural Symposium in October 2024 in Darwin, bringing together educators, leaders and community members to celebrate and strengthen the City-Country Partnership Program, school partnerships. The event highlighted the impact of these collaborations, showcasing how reciprocal learning, cultural exchange and shared educational resources are transforming opportunities for students in remote and metropolitan communities. With a focus on language, cultural education, and Indigenous-led curriculum development, the Symposium aimed to pave the way for lasting, equitable educational outcomes across Australia.

Peace Lutheran College and Bloomfield River State School Creating Lasting Connections Through Education

Building upon an existing connection established by Wujal Wujal community Elders, Bloomfield River State School and Peace Lutheran College Cairns are embarking on a transformative partnership supported by the Yadha Muru Foundation (YMF) and the Australian Government's City-Country Partnerships Program. This initiative, guided by the "Walking and Learning in Two Worlds" framework, aims to foster stronger relationships between students, empower educators and ultimately improve educational outcomes for both communities.

Jabiru Area School and Caulfield Grammar School Continue on Collaborative Journey

Building upon an established partnership, Jabiru Area School and Caulfield Grammar School are embarking on a new phase of collaboration supported by the City-Country Partnerships Program.
