Beverley Angeles

Assistant Director - City Country Partnerships Program

Beverley Angeles is a proud Arrernte woman. She is a teacher and an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the Northern Territory’s education sector. Beverley manages relationships with Yadha Muru Foundation’s school partners and is dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities and outcomes for Indigenous communities. Working with our team, Beverley is responsible for developing detailed implementation plans, fostering relationships with Elders, Traditional Custodians, remote school leaders and government education departments to ensure the program’s quality and compliance. Beverley’s career spans various significant positions, including Professional Learning Leader for the Remote Aboriginal Teacher Education (RATE) project, Early Childhood Program Advisor for the Learning with Families program and Co-Campus Principal at St Joseph’s Catholic Flexible Learning Centre. Throughout these roles, Beverley has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting Aboriginal educators, fostering early childhood education and promoting cultural competencies within educational settings.

Beverley holds a Bachelor of Teaching from Latrobe University, Bendigo Campus and has completed numerous professional development courses, including Aboriginal Mental Health Cultural Competency and Suicide Prevention Training and NT Public Service Merit Selection Training.

Residing in Alice Springs, Beverley continues to contribute to the community through various advisory and leadership roles, including participation in the Aboriginal Employment Reference Group and the Institute for Aboriginal Development.
