Community Relations

Brad is a Ngemba and Barkindji man from Brewarrina in Western NSW. Responsible for Community Relations for Yadha Muru Foundation, Brad works closely with local communities and schools.

He has dedicated his life to community service, focusing on youth wellbeing, youth justice and diversionary programs on Country. A respected cultural figure, Brad is well-regarded throughout NSW and South East Queensland.

He has held various roles in the youth wellbeing and justice sectors, including positions with Youth With a Mission Australia (YWAM), the Queensland Department of Justice and the Central Queensland Indigenous Development organisation. Brad has also consulted for First Nations Co.

We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nations who were the first sovereign peoples of the Australian continent and its adjacent islands, and possessed it under their own laws and customs.

We pay respect to their Elders - past, present and future. We make a commitment to move forward in a spirit of reconciliation. We value the unique status of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the original custodians of these lands and waters. Our nation must have the courage to own the truth and to heal the wounds of its past so that we can move on together at peace with ourselves. We want a future where all Australians enjoy their rights, accept their responsibilities, and have the opportunity to achieve their full potential. We dare to hope for a united country where all Australians respect this land of ours; value the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage; and value the unique cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and those who have come more recently to this land.
