Students from Valley Christian School in Phoenix, Arizona, recently visited Brewarrina Central School as part of an ongoing connection with Green Point Christian College. During their visit, Valley Christian and Brewarrina students took part in a range of classroom activities. This visit expanded and deepened cross-cultural understanding and expanded horizons for all students and staff.

A pen pal program has been established between the Year 5 class at Green Point and the Years 3–6 class at Brewarrina, with students exchanging letters and connecting through video calls on Teams. Brewarrina staff have also been in contact with Green Point for guidance on supporting students’ involvement in interschool sport and several team members have enrolled in further study, including Teacher Aide certificate courses.
